Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the WellnessMYO website or scheduling services.

1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the WellnessMYO website (the “Site”), including any content, functionality, and services offered on or through the Site, and your use of orofacial myofunctional therapy services offered by WellnessMYO (“WellnessMYO,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Site, or by scheduling or receiving services from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our services.
2. Description of Services
WellnessMYO provides orofacial myofunctional therapy services, including assessments and individualized exercise-based therapy programs addressing tongue thrust, mouth breathing, tongue-tie pre/post care, thumb and finger sucking habits, TMJ and orofacial tension, and related concerns, delivered in person in the Austin, TX area and via telehealth where available. Services described on the Site are general in nature; actual treatment plans are determined individually following an assessment.
3. No Medical Advice or Diagnosis
WellnessMYO provides myofunctional therapy and educational information. We do not provide medical or dental diagnosis, and nothing on the Site or provided during a consultation should be construed as medical or dental advice. Content on the Site is for general informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical, dental, or psychological evaluation, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician, dentist, ENT, or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical or dental condition, and never disregard professional advice or delay seeking it because of something you read on this Site.
If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room immediately.
4. Eligibility & Account/Information Accuracy
By using the Site or scheduling services, you represent that you are at least 18 years old, or are the parent/legal guardian of a minor for whom you are scheduling services and are authorized to consent to their care. Any information you provide through the Site (including contact forms) must be accurate, current, and complete. You are responsible for promptly updating your information if it changes.
5. Appointments, Cancellations & No-Shows
Appointments requested through the Site are subject to confirmation by our team and are not guaranteed until confirmed. We request at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule or cancel an appointment. Late cancellations or missed appointments (no-shows) may be subject to a fee, as communicated to you at the time of booking or in your client agreement.
6. Telehealth Services
Where offered, telehealth sessions are conducted via secure video conferencing technology. You are responsible for ensuring you have a private, safe environment and adequate internet connectivity for your session. Telehealth is not appropriate for all conditions or emergencies, and we reserve the right to recommend in-person care where appropriate. By participating in a telehealth session, you consent to receiving services in this format, understanding its benefits and limitations relative to in-person care.
7. Payment, Pricing & Insurance
Pricing for services is provided directly to clients following an initial assessment and is not guaranteed by any pricing information that may appear informally on the Site. Payment is due as described in your client agreement. WellnessMYO does not guarantee insurance coverage or reimbursement for services; it is your responsibility to verify your own benefits. We may provide documentation (such as a superbill) to support out-of-network reimbursement claims upon request, without guarantee of payment by your insurer.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Site to: (a) violate any applicable law or regulation; (b) transmit any harmful, threatening, or unlawful content; (c) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, our systems, or related networks; (d) interfere with the proper functioning of the Site; or (e) scrape, harvest, or misuse any content or data from the Site for unauthorized commercial purposes.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, images, and the overall design and layout — is the property of WellnessMYO or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws, unless otherwise noted. You may view and print content from the Site for your own personal, non-commercial use, but may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from Site content without our prior written consent.
10. Third-Party Links & Services
The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services (for example, a scheduling or payment platform) that are not owned or controlled by WellnessMYO. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party sites. Your use of any third-party site or service is at your own risk and subject to that third party’s own terms and privacy policy.
11. Disclaimers of Warranties
The Site and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Individual results from therapy vary and are not guaranteed.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, WellnessMYO and its owners, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Site or our services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability arising from gross negligence or willful misconduct in the provision of clinical care.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WellnessMYO and its owners, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Site or our services.
14. Privacy
Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.
15. Termination of Access
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Site, and to decline to provide services, at our discretion, including for suspected violation of these Terms or for reasons related to the safety or appropriateness of care.
16. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
